The Dallas World Aquarium, near downtown, is not your normal aquarium. It is actually like stepping into a rainforest, where you can explore different levels...from the treetops to under the water.
The Dallas Zoo is filled with bronze statues of different animals. Close enough to climb on, touch, and take great photos.
Fort Worth Family Vacations
A visit to Fort Worth should include the stockyards.

While at the stockyards, visit the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze. It is a maze that resembles cattlepens, with checkpoints along the way. The maze route changes every so often, so if you have visited before, it will be a new challenge now!
Another interesting and cheap family vacations destination in Fort Worth, Texas is to visit the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Western Currency Facility. Here you can watch being printed! San Antonio Family Vacations
San Antonio is known for it's cherished memorial to Texas Independence, the Alamo.
